Turkey launches new short film to boost tourism

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has made a new promotional short film featuring several iconic sites from Turkey that will be aired on social media, the ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

Short film called “Home of Poetry” has been prepared within the scope of the country’s global tourism and cultural campaign “Turkey Home” launched by the ministry in 2014.

The promotional video consists of a main advertisement film lasting over three minutes; three other shorter movies have been shot in ancient lands of Turkey across 12 cities.

Inspired by Turkey’s tradition of poetry, the advertisement project features verses from famous Turkish poets such as Atilla Ilhan, Ilhan Berk, Yahya Kemal Beyatli, Edip Cansever and Fazil Husnu Daglarca to promote the country’s beauty and charm besides its historical heritage, the ministry said.
